the city is founded by arabs and its population ara arabs so its name must be an arabic name.

first of all sign your name. secondly, "also known as" is the same thing as "or" except more professional. also, the population is no longer just arab. also, population does not have anything to do with names.Khosrow II 04:35, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
