Khong Island

Khong Island or Don Khong is an island of the Champasak Province of southern Laos, located on the Mekong river, in the Si Phan Don area.
The island is 18 km long (north-south), and 8 km at its widest point. Population: approx. 55,000 , mainly concentrated in the two villages Muang Saen (west) and Muang Khong (east).
