Khogyani is a district in the south of Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, bordering on Pakistan. Its population, which is 100% Pashtun, was estimated at 146,852 in 2002, of whom 58,700 were children under 12. The district centre is the village of Khogyani, though the largest village is Wazeer.

Khogyani was one of the places in Afghanistan, where poppy cultivation got its highest point in Nangarhar Province. Although Khogyani is a district by itself, but it is divided by other several districts. The most famous districts are Sherzad and Wazeeri. Khogyani is famous for its nice weather, and fantastic fruits. Its appricots, walnuts, almonds and grapes are famous in Nangarhar province and even in Afghanistan. It is a nice place for tourists to visit, but it because of its risk, nobody likes to visit that place.
