[edit] getting started

Inconsistancies in the bible: take a look at this list we can work from there.

Some of these theological disputes are going to be similar to Christian heresies: Pelagianism, Nestorianism, etc. Any thoughts on this? --circuitloss 01:38, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

Ok, another thing. What is our overall guiding philosophy for this article? Are these external criticisms? If so, then the incarnation, Biblical inconsistancies etc, are good sections. Are these internal criticisms? The first 15 centuries of Christian history is filled with heresy of one kind or another, should the debate over Free Will (Pelagianism) have a place in this article? I submit to you as the Wikipedia master... :-) --circuitloss 02:07, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

I would say all of that is fair game. KHM03 10:39, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] VFD

I am feeling very sorry for your work that you've just started. This page should be presented to VFD according to WP policies. There should not be 2 articles about the same topic. Though I am not a fan of all anti, criticism articles, I have to say that inside the main and original article include the NPOV facts about the other side of the coin. See other articles as Criticism of Islam and Anti-Judaism for better ideas about how an article of this kind should be dealt with. -- Cheers Svest 19:19, 12 October 2005 (UTC)

Well, this "new" article is basically a sandbox, a work in progress. The other article is the "official" one. I noticed that the Islam article is NPOV tagged, so I'm not sure that's a good model. Are you suggesting that the main article be VFD-ed, this work in progress, or both? KHM03 19:31, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
Sorry for being quick on presenting this to vfd. The best option is to get this article and put it on another sandbox instead (like on your user page namespace). Doing that will avoid confusion as for merge tags that are put on main articles.
You are right that the Islam one is not a good model because is tagged NPOV. Don't expect from articles beginning with Anti or criticism of my toothbrush or my TV to be NPOV. They would never be. I am not a partizan of those kind of articles anyway. However, I can't present the main articles for VFD because they are real topics (as there's criticism of everything in life). I just presented this of New as I explained above. Cheers -- Svest 19:42, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
I would welcome your work on the main article; we could just get rid of this one altogether...I defer. It's just that the main one is so POV and horrible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As a Christian, I understand that there are real, valid criticisms of my faith...I don't want to ignore them. But the main article has gotten way out of hand. I like the way the Islam article is structured; perhaps that can serve as some sort of model. At any rate, any help is welcome. Thanks...KHM03 19:55, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
