Please discuss what? conflict of interest? - what exactly is contended?

i have removed anything that could not be verified immediately ie: the family tree, which took months to collect and access to russian archives.

what else is contended?

do you deny the family exists/existed? yes/no do you deny the origins? - check related links in text for verification - or dyor outside of wiki.

what else is contended? my relation to the family? well i cant change that...- you had better tell me now if you are going to keep that conflict of interest notice up there, because i will remove all of the article if it stays. better to have a blank page.

please list EXACTLY what is now wrong, or remove the conflict of interest notice. Or state you cannot do so.

  • Hi, Khilkoff. I was the one who tagged the article. There is no need to get angry or take it personally - the tags are meant to flag the article for improvement. You (or any other editor) can remove any of the tags - you don't have to wait for me to do it. I certainly don't deny the existence of the family, and neither of my tags suggest that the article is false. As it stands now, though, the article is unsourced; that is, there are no references to reliable third party sources to corroborate the information. Please have a look at Wikipedia's policy on verifiability if you want more information. You might also consider checking out Wikipedia's policy on civility as well. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask them here or on my talk page. Thanks, and welcome to Wikipedia! --Dawn bard (talk) 14:04, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

  • Dawn bard, hello,

Thank you for the feedback, I will follow up your links. For the "lack of civility", i apologise. Being a descendant of this family, how can i NOT have a conflict of interest?... As you have kindly informed me i can remove this tag myself, i take it less 'personally'. I have researched this (my) family for the last 10 years or so, and have much material, that i wish to include. Please do not put a conflict of interest tag on the page, but thank you for pointing out the need for citations, which i will place in the future. Kind Regards A Khilkoff

Governmental Datcha M-1 http://www.rthvictoria.com/victori6.html

Governmental Datcha M-1 The history of the Datcha dates back to the 16th century when it used to belong to Prince Semen Starodubsky. The estate got it present name in 1906, when it was bought by N.D. Morozov, the nephew of the famous Russian businessman Sawa Morozov. The new owner constructed a huge wooden villa surrounded by a park laid out to the project of Regel, the director of the Moscow University botanical garden. Some 60 rare breeds of trees and bushes have survived into today. In 1941 during the VWVII the villa was set on fire. The present palace and the park ensemble were constructed on the site in 1953. The most prominent Soviet architects of the period took part in the restoration of the main palace that was designed in the best traditions of the post-war Retroclassical style. For many years the estate was used for receptions in honor of foreign Governmental delegations. The main palace features 40 junior suites including 6 suites. A conference hall for about 80, a dining room for 80, a billiard room, a Winter garden and Library both suitable for cocktails for up to 80. Besides the estate features snowmobiles, skiing, sauna, tennis courts, fitness center, horseback riding, troika rides, boats.
