Kheri is a town and a nagar panchayat in Kheri district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census^[2], Kheri had a population of 25,017. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Kheri has an average literacy rate of 43%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 48%, and female literacy is 37%. In Kheri, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
