Welcome!
Hello, Khaosjr, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! With regards to the list of famous people who have died of AIDS, please be extra-sure that it is very well sourced (see WP:CITE and WP:V). Lists like that can be a touchy subject, so please don't be offended if someone sees it and comments on it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Mak (talk) 04:25, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Some editing suggestions
Regarding your edits to List of cheerleaders:
- I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again.

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.
Thanks. —dto 06:19, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- I see you've started to do both of these things, as well as marking small edits as "minor." Thanks and good luck! —dto 07:38, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your list IS worthwhile despite what some deletionists would say
The list (List_of_famous_parents_of_twins) you created is/was up for deletion. I want you to know there is a place for it: http://wikitistics.com . No one will be able to nominate it for deletion because it fits one simple rule: it's a statistic, list, or figure. Some people think these websites should encompass the same scope of a paper book- we don't. Apologies if this note is directed at the wrong person. Good luck with your endeavors! [edit] Regarding edits made during September 11, 2006 (UTC) to Ernie
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Ryūlóng 05:19, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Antiproton
Hi there, I noticed you made some changes to the antiproton page (adding the "negatron" terminology). I reverted the page since negatron was actually proposed to refer to the ordinary electron, not to the antiproton; from the article on the electron:
The discoverer of the positron, Carl D. Anderson, proposed calling standard electrons negatrons, and using electron as a generic term to describe both the positively and negatively charged variants. This usage never caught on and is rarely if ever encountered today.
If you want to discuss this please feel free to contact me on my talk page. Thanks! HEL 13:12, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vic Morrow
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Vic Morrow. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Specifically DOB changes, ethnic or country ascendancy, and more importantly something he said at one point in time must be properly sourced. Alexf(Talk/Contribs) 12:01, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Taglines
I recommend you look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Films/Style_guidelines#Tagline. Briefly, only the most memorable taglines should be included. Clarityfiend 03:28, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] November 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Jerry Yang, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
