[edit] Origin?

Any serious sources on the origin? I've seen books claiming both Georgian and Armenian origin, but they probably just repeat after natives. And we know how stubborn Caucasians can get over silly things like that. Also doesn't 'khash' (or something similar) mean 'soup' in Persian?(PaC 07:38, 19 July 2007 (UTC))
