The business about the street name in Iran is peripheral. The bit about the Russian airliners boils down to nothing but an anonymous claim on a pro-terrorism web forum. (Jamestown often overestimates the importance of such stuff.) The Russian Wahhabi Shamil Basayev claimed it was done by a group of his people, with a completely different name; see
