[edit] Speedy delete

The reason for the speedy delete is because a google search of this fellow's name and his band turned up no results other than Wikipedia and a mirror site. I realize that this may be due to the way his name is Latinized, but as far as I can tell this guy seems to be extremely non-notable as per Wikipedia:Notability (music). I doubt this guy's band is even notable. -- Big Brother 1984 20:33, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Failing a google search is not part part of the speedy deletion criteria. The article does assert his notability by saying he is a member of an allegedly notable band (another member of which also has a reasonably well-established Wikipedia article). I'm not saying he's definitely notable; he very well might not be. I'm just saying this article asserts that notability in a reasonable way, so you should prod it or get more discussion at AfD. I'll have no problem deleting it after that; I just don't think it should be done unilaterally. Kafziel ^Talk 20:47, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
