The Khawa Karpo-Tibet Culture Centre (KTC)) was established in 2003 in Dharamsala (India) by a group of Tibetans in exile.

The aim of KTC is to intensify the struggle of Tibetans in exile. KTC aims at helping Tibetans to practice their cultural values, guided by the principles of nonviolence and compassion.

KTC is reinforcing the ongoing democratic process of Tibetans in exile. KTC promotes Tibetan culture and cause through newspapers, electronic media. The founders of KTC are instructed Tibetans who have followed intensive religious and lay studies under the guidance of outstanding Tibetan teachers.
Members of KTC are from younger generation educated under the leadership of XIVth Dalai Lama. They are prepared to hold the responsibilities of continuing the Tibet struggle and inform about the situation in Tibet. Through KTC activities, members are building a strong Tibetan society to gain both Tibet and international support for Tibetan cause.
