Khattar (Urdu: کھتر ) are a Punjabi tribe in Punjab.

They follow Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism. The Hindu and Sikh Khattar are found among Khatri as well as Rajput caste in India. The Khattars lived in areas of West Punjab and NWFP of Pakistan. The Hindu and Sikh Khattar migrated to India in 1947 after independence.
