Khar Road

Khar Road is a railway station on the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network, in the Khar suburb. It is closer to Bandra Terminus of WEstern railway a terminus for Upcountry trains.
The name of the station Khar Road is derived from the name of the village Khar-Danda near to the Arabian Sea.
On 11 July 2006 was affected by 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings.
