Khao Luang

Khao Luang (Thai:เขา เหลือง) is the highest elevation of Banthat mountain range (เทือกเขาบรรทัด) a.k.a. the Nakhon Si Thammarat mountain range (เทือกเขานครศรีธรรมราช). The peak has the altitude of 1835 m, the highest for Southern Thailand. Several small rivers originate in the mountain range, the Tapi River is the largest by far. The others being the Trang River and Pailin River.
