New Zealand born Khan spent his early childhood living in the bush on the Coromandel Peninsula before moving to Auckland. It was here that Khan first attended drama classes, coming face to face with an insatiable appetite for the paradoxical craft known as 'acting'. For the next three years he 'acted' whenever he could; in school plays, public speaking/debating, self-devised comedy, a magic show - he couldn't imagine anything better.

At age 11 Khan immigrated to Perth with his mum and younger brother. Khan's mum sent him to an audition for a part in a locally produced children's television series - The Gift (Barron Entertainment). He scored the role of Leo McCormack and since then, sees acting as the achievable dream.

Khan attended WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) from 2002 until leaving towards the end of his third year to accept the part of Dean "The Edge" Edgely in Blue Water High. WAAPA graduated him without showcasing, which is a rarity for a school that generally is very stringent about process. This could only be seen as a clever business move for the Academy, which recognised Khan's potential for future celebrity. During his time at WAAPA he appeared in the following productions - Merry-Go-Round, Pillars of Society, Much Ado About Nothing, Epsom Downs, Scenes From The Big Picture, Buried Child and Macbeth. Khan shot numerous commercials and has done much voiceover work for W.A. based agencies Brainestorm and DoubleDragon - as well as appearing in a couple of short films.

Following Blue Water High, Khan has had little time to rest, signing on for the Foxtel series Dangerous and a large number of films, including the worldwide indie film hit Clubland (USA Title: Introducing the Dwights). The success of this film landed him his first US based film role in Endless Bummer, which is currently being filmed in Ventura, California.
