[edit] The creation of the Khalsa Raj Party

Jagjit Singh Chohan is the self-styled president of the so-called Khalistan. According to Sikh TImes that"Dr. Jagjit Singh Chauhan, an ideologue of the Khalistan movement who returned to India from UK after 21 years to form the Khalsa Raj Party, declared his intention to work towards the 'formation of Khalistan' at a press meet in Chandigarh. Till recently, Chauhan was lying low but now sees some prospect of the Khalistan movement being revived." [2] Dr. Jagjit Singh Chohan established the Khalsa Raj party with the purpose of achieving self determination for the Sikhs known as Khalistan.
