Khalid Al-Thawadi

Khalid Al-Thawadi is the lead guitarist in Al Ekhwa or "The Brothers” band, Bahrain's most popular musical band. He is the second man in the band after the lead singer Ali Bahar. Khalid Al-Thawady was the Middle East's best guitarist in 1996 and Asia's best guitarist in 2001 beating many foreign players. In Fact, Khalid is also the band’s lyrics writer. His lyrics are usually characterized as blue as well as romantic. Al-Thawadi is also a vocalist, he has performed a few songs of “The Brothers” releases in addition to lots of occasions of live performance (singing & playing) during concerts. His superior shows would surely include legendary international songs for singers like Santana and Bob Marley adding to them his individual master touches. Many of Arab junior guitar players consider Al-Thawadi as their ideal guitarist.
