Khakhara

Khakhara or Khkhra is a village of rajputs in Sahabganj, Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1] The first gram (“village”) pradhan of the village is Shri Lalji Singh. Paddy and wheat are the main crops grown there. Other notable people of Khakhara are Shri Shivpujan Singhji (of the advocate supreme court), Shahsikant Singh (IAS officer), and Dr. Jagat Narayan Singh.

khakhara is a big village with more than 1000 families. The main sourece of the income of the peaple is Agriculture.It is situated near border of Bihar and Uttar pradesh. This village had shown respect towards the women and they give emphasis on the education of girls and the most recent example is in the form of Niranjana singh D/o of shri shiv pujan singh ji. she is Advocate in supreme court of india.This village had a great history of Freedom fighters and it had also given writers as kunwar singhji.
