From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Khagendra Thapa Magar (born 1992), son of father Rup Bahadur and mother Dhana Maya, is reported to be the shortest 'man' in the world, measuring 60 cm (24 inches) at age 16. Magar came from the Baglung District of Nepal and is dubbed as a "little Buddha" by the villagers. Just 600 g (1lb 5 oz) at birth, Khagendra now is only about 5.5 kg (12 lb).[1]

He is currently employed at the Baglung District of Nepal Arts and Recreation Centre.

In May 2008 he appeared in the British Channel 4 documentary called "the world's smallest man and me" hosted by Mark Dolan.
