[edit] Hi

Hello! User:Howard the Duck corrected the title Judicial Executive Legislative Advisory and Consultative Council. I am glad that you helped in this first in our legal history MOA. The only problem I myself encountered, is that the government used a non-Wiki very long title. I myself could not easily memorize this. For example, I typed Jelac in Wiki search and I found nothing. I can't remember the title, so I have to go to my own contributions. There must be some remedy for this. But I am not familiar with Wiki processes, since I am a beginner here. My point is, if it is possible for you to find a way that readers or lawyers will easily find this article in search engine without typing the very long title. Is it possible to type Jelac and be re-directed to this title. Just asking, anyway. Regards. --Florentino floro (talk) 11:26, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

It's been done. I created a redirect to the main article using the acronym "Jelac". You can now type "Jelac" in the search box and you'll get redirected to Judicial Executive Legislative Advisory and Consultative Council. You can also read WP:REDIRECT to learn about creating redirects. Happy editing! — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 11:51, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks so much. Actually, I tried 2 times yesterday to type on search, and I failed; so I copy pasted the exact words from Gma report and I got it. This demonstrates that your re-direct edit, would be a great help to our legal community, especially to professors and jurists plus bar examinees. This article might be a bar question. Regards. --Florentino floro (talk) 07:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jelacc and Jelac

I just noticed today that it is Jelacc but papers use Jelac. So, may I again visit you and quote my message to this kind user who alerted me of this. I typed Jelacc in Wiki search but it won't re-direct. "Hi User:Richarddr1234. Thanks for contributing to Jelac or Jelacc. Even if I created the article, I just noticed only now that the acronym is Jelacc, even if the papers or the S.C. would call it Jelac. So, I asked the kindness of Kurt to re-direct Jelac to the article since the title is too, too long. In fact, I told Kurt the problem of the legal community and of myself in looking for this by typing the title in Wiki search engine but I failed 3 x, so I had to go to my contributions. Maybe, let us ask the help of Kurt to include Jelacc in re-direct so that if a jurist or reader would type Jelacc in Wiki search, it would also re-direct there." Regards. --Florentino floro (talk) 08:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Done. Now, whether you key-in "Jelac" or "Jelacc", you'll get re-directed to the correct article. — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 10:55, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] That "was" the Official Site

We have been commissioned by the Tourism Department of the City to revamp their online campaign and exhibit the city in a better light. 38 programmers, web-developers, animators and art-directors both local and international were paid by the city government of Roxas City to build its new online home at http://www.roxascityrealestates.com. dot-Gov-dot-ph is a pseudo dot-Ph domain, it is in fact a private American-owned hosting company that has been monopolizing its rates and policies recently. Roxas City wants to opt-out of this monopolizing scenario and has made plans of transferring its domain early on before being manipulated unwittingly by American net industries. And please!! Was that site in your estimation befitting of the word "official"? "Kung kacheapan ang taste sang mga taga-Bacolod, indi ya pagpapareho-a ang Roxas City itsoy!" (If your local culture has less sophisticated taste, do not think that others would share the same, young man.) 121.1.45.2 (talk) 01:12, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Mariter Barrios Bermejo

Let us limit our discussion to what matters. Personal views and biases have no bearing here in Wikipedia. We advocate a neutral point of view. I am not interested in arguing the moot point of who is "cheap" or "cool". As a Wikipedian, I am merely interested in the facts and upholding the Wikipedian culture. You can't blame me for having the mindset that all LGU's have a ".gov.ph" domain. That is only logical. Do not take it as a personal affront when your edits got reverted, it happens all the time; you are not a registered user and simply use an anonymous IP – for all I knew your edits might be those of some pimply high school kid from who knows where. If you do register as a Wikipedia user, you'll have more credibility. But the main point is, communicate with the editors here in Wikipedia. If you objected to the reverts, you could have left a message in the article's talk page the first time, explaining your edits. Wikipedians always go by consensus. Even as an anon IP user you have that right to have your opinion heard. But we do it in a civil manner. Now that you have explained your edits, I'll let it stand. Isn't civility a beautiful thing? =) I have been to Roxas City, several times over the years, and have been impressed by the manners of the people I have interacted with in that city; cultured, polite and refined. Oh, one thing more – I am a Silaynon, and not from Bacolod. Cheers and happy editing! — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 08:41, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Kurt, a pimply high-school kid from who-knows where, have as much credibility to contribute and edit. Your biases betrays how much you evaluate and appraise things, which applies to all other aspects in your dealings: not only in this scenario but with how you easily dismiss and classify circumstances based on hasty prejudices and uncareful consideration. Using good judgment to consider likely consequences dictates that a thorough investigation and presumption of good faith (irregardless of class or looks or pimples or age) must be engendered before one acts accordingly. It's a pity, I find you cute pa naman. I know that's a personal comment, but i'm a very frank person. But yes I do. At age 37. Wow, you still look hot. Especially in that shot when you were in the hospital. I bet the nurses were giggling to give you a little massage. And lastly, never undersestimate pimply high-school kids. Especially kids. Geniuses and leaders can come from their ranks. You were once a kid. Never discredit adolescents and the youth. Adults who have no respect for them do not deserve any as well. "Unless ye become a child, like this, ye shall never enter the kingdom of heaven..." Smile. You look cuter that way. I hope you're not yet married. And i love calling you "Itsoy." So don't take that offensively. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.45.2 (talk) 10:18, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I never take offense on Wikipedia; otherwise I would have hid behind an anonymous username. The reason for that is simple; I am here to contribute, not to come into conflict with other people. However, the issue is not about me. I am a teacher; I am much aware of the youth's potential; I never underestimate them. Some are fountains of knowledge, the source of my pride as their mentor. Some, however, are capable of oh so evil creations. Just like adults. =) Hmmm... Maybe those WikiPilipinas people were right all along; there's no such thing as a completely neutral point of view. — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 22:48, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
There is no such thing as complete neutrality. It's an ideal, but hardly close to anything physically possible...well, relative at least to human culture and social consciousness. Love, for one, is never neutral. And at the point of orgasm, the Self completely forgets everything and is solely preoccupied with enjoying that three-second moment of bliss. There is no such thing as neutrality. Humans would always make things personal. The sense of the Self and self-preservation would always be preeminent than any other communal and shared ethos and disciplines. Neutral or not, I think you're really attractive. Reminds me of Professor Lupin in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. Roughly handsome and ravenous in bed. Very sexy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.1.45.2 (talk) 05:40, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh well, you can't blame one for aspiring to achieve a higher plane of existence. Hmm... I wonder what your Patronus would be. =) — KvЯt GviЯnЭlБ Speak! 06:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
