[edit] Red Weekends

In September 2005 Emmis Communications sold a radio station in St. Louis, Red 104.1 FM. It played swing, jazz, and "music of class." Because some of the same listeners of 97.1 also listened to Red FM, the management of 97.1 agreed to continue Red's genre after it changed formats. During the fall and winter months of 2005-2006, Red's music was played on the weekend during time slots previously held by other hosts and online. Red Weekends were discontinued in April of 2006, returning some of its old shows and some newer ones.

Red now broadcasts on 97.1's HD-2 station, replacing the Fox News Network that previously aired.
