[edit] example in Metasyntactic variable

Hi, I apologize for overwriting your edit. A brief example would fine, but it would be better if it was one that showed realistic context, such as in the Kernighan example. I've started a section at Talk:Metasyntactic variable. How would you interpret Kernighan's use of f1 in that example?

FYI, Help:Section says that section headers should not "use only one equals sign on a side (=text here=)".

You wrote "Why delete the =Specific Examples= section?". I merged several sections by removing the headers (only), not the content, because the content of those sections seemed too short to deserve its own header. And I agree that the article was a mess before you cleaned it up. Thanks! --Jtir (talk) 18:03, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
