[edit] KPN addresses

Working in a direct mail house, I see lots of Gig Harbor-ish addresses with "KPN" in them. Does this stand for "Key Peninsula", or does it mean something else? Thanks.--SarekOfVulcan 01:22, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

"Key Peninsula North", I believe, as there is also KPS; either can also be KN or KS. Pierce County also uses FI and AI for Fox Island and Anderson Island, if I recall.. along with N, S, E, W, NW, SE, etc etc.. Pfly 03:14, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] State Parks

The Key Peninsula is home to two State Parks, which should be mentioned in the article. 71.227.254.181 06:14, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hicks

Not very politically correct to call residents of the Key Peninsula "hicks." The peninsula is a varied and interesting place. The town of Home has significance for its history as a free-thinking Socialist society at the turn of the (last) century.
