Keytrade Bank is the leader in online trading in Belgium. It was founded in 1998 by the creators of “Skynet”, an Internet provider. The idea is to provide an easy and fast access to the most important financial markets.
When founded, the company’s name was “VMS-Keytrade”. In 2002, VMS-Keytrade became Keytrade Bank and acquired its banking status by merging with“RealBank”.
Since January 2007, Keytrade Bank is fully part of the Crédit Agricole Group, one of Europe's largest banking groups, which reinforces its financial bases and confirms its expertise as the leader in online trading in Belgium.
