Kewanee, Missouri

Kewanee is an unincorporated community in New Madrid County, Missouri, United States. It is located about five miles north of New Madrid about one miles west of U.S. Routes 61/62. The town was founded in 1910, and is named after Kewanee, Illinois, from a Winnebago tribe word for prairie chicken.
