Kewal Krishan (anthropologist)

Dr. Kewal Krishan is a lecturer of Biological Anthropology in Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He specializes in forensic anthropology. His areas of interest include forensic osteology, anthropometry, stature estimation, growth and nutritional status. He completed his doctorate from Panjab University, Chandigarh and extensively worked on the Gujjars of North-West India. He was awarded gold-medal for standing first in M.Sc (Honours School) in Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has been recently nominated as Editor-in-Chief of The Internet Journal of Biological Anthropology. He is on the Editorial Board of eleven other international journals. He has published papers on various aspects of Physical/Biological Anthropology like estimation of stature, bilateral asymmetry, footprints, autopsy room infection, physical growth and nutritional status in National and International journals of repute. His articles are published in the journals such as Forensic Science International, Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, Legal Medicine (Tokyo), American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology etc.
