Kew tram depot, Melbourne

Kew Tram Depot is located on the corner of Barkers Rd and High St, Kew, a suburb of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.

It is one of 8 depots operated in the Yarra Trams network, and opened on the 8th May, 1915 [1].

The main yard has 12 covered roads. There are two tracks for trams leaving or entering via Barkers Rd, and a single track connecting to High St.

[edit] Trams Based At This Depot

Kew Depot is home to the majority of the C class Citadis trams (29 C-Class trams, with the rest allocated to Southbank). The only other trams located at Kew are 29 A-Class trams, a total of 58.
