[edit] History
KEWL Magazine was co-founded by Mike Bundlie and Denise Bradley and is published by KEWL, LLC. DIC Entertainment and Geffen Records were involved in the first issue of the magazine. The magazine is owned and controlled by KEWL, LLC. Originally launched as a promotional quarterly magazine (Spring and Summer), KEWL became a monthly title following their December-January 2007-08 issue. The magazine releases 10 issues per year, and from their association with DIC, lends their name to DIC's KEWLopolis weekend children's programming block on CBS.
The first issue featured an exclusive image of Zac Efron from Hairspray. [3]
