[edit] Progressive Student Organization
The PSO has been active in the Northwest Ohio community and Northwest State Community College campus since 2004. Although its members have come from many areas, they are primarily from the Human Services program. P. Donaldson is longest running member and the most active participant.
The PSO is comprised of a president and a vice president, a treasurer and secretary, and they are elected on an as needed basis.
PSO activities include volunteering throughout the surrounding communities; supporting and planning on-campus events; collecting goods and donations for community supporters; sharing valuable information with the student body; educating the community about social issues.
A member of the group must be student/faculty at Northwest State. Attendance of monthly meetings and participation in some activities is required. There is no membership fee or GPA requirement.
