[edit] JSA!

I assume you are a JSA'er. Where are all the others on Wikipedia?! Oh, well, actually, I guess there are several, some of which have certain vandalism habits which don't exactly give us a good name... Ah, well, it's brotherhood. --Theaterfreak64 06:42, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Current events

I've removed the story on September 2 about the California gay marriage as it is already mentioned on September 1. Evil MonkeyHello 00:58, 3 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] October 2006

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Wayne, New Jersey. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. see this link for details regarding your vandlaism. Alansohn 04:59, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

On Octobor 19th you accused of vandalisim on the Wayne, New Jersey article. However, if you look at your edit and my edit you cited you'll find that I was not the culprit. Please, try to be more careful in the future.

Also, I'm wondering where you found the template for vandalisim you used on my talk page, it seems quite useful.

Thanks, Kevin 09:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Kevin, my sincerest apologies for making the mistake and blaming you. The Wayne article is a frequent target of vandalism and I will try to figure out why I blamed you, when you have been making useful edits. My apologies, again. Alansohn 12:19, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The National Bank of Georgia

Hi Kevin, as best I remember, it consisted of little more than a disamb note, ext links and refs. I can't recall the article giving any info about location of hq, number of branches, geo range, funds, operations etc. Apologies if my memory is at fault. if you recreate, I'll look again, jimfbleak 08:56, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

   OK. I've restored - i was a bit hasty, sorry, jimfbleak 08:58, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:GladHeartsOiliphant.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:GladHeartsOiliphant.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Notability of The National Bank of Georgia (U.S.)

A tag has been placed on The National Bank of Georgia (U.S.) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
