I, Tghe-retford award you this barnstar for your tireless work on the List of radio stations in the United Kingdom article, converting the lists to tables. Keep up the good work! tgheretford (talk) 17:13, 9 December 2006 (UTC) |

[edit] Williams F1 car pictures
Hi,
There some great pictures you've got there, I'm not sure how many you're willing to make available under a free licence but I think [1] would be a good image for the main Williams article, [2] could be used on Williams FW11, [3] on Williams FW07, [4] on 1994 San Marino Grand Prix and [5] to be used instead of Image:Williams Renault FW16 Hill.jpg. If you were willing to licence any of the above images under a free licence, that'd be great. Thanks, Alexj2002 09:54, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I've uploaded and added the first three.
Uploaded the FW14, not sure where to add it within the article though - feel free to add it where you feel is appropriate. [6] - trying to work out why we want the latter replacing as I think it looks better myself - or do we just want to get the competitions cars out the background?
I think I've selected the appropriate licence, but if not could you suggest the closest valid Creative Commons alternative - thanks!
- Hi,
- I notice it shows two different licences on the image description page, "Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike" and "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike" It'll need to be under the latter to be used on Wikipedia (Non-commercial images are not permitted). I hope you don't mind me changing that for you, and also moving them to commons. With regard to the FW16 image, I feel that the one there at the moment is taken from a not-quite front on view, and is too low so you don't get a perspective of the car. If yours was cropped and edited a bit to remove the people and plant, I feel it looks better, even if the quality isn't as high - see [7] for it fullsize and [8] for it similar to it's article size. Perhaps asking others on the Williams talk page might provide additional opinions on this. Alexj2002 16:36, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:List of radio stations in the United Kingdom
I restored the content you deleted from the talk page into its own archive, for historical sake. --tgheretford (talk) 16:19, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] UK Radio task force
Hi there.
I have noticed the work you have been putting into the list of UK Radio stations. I have setup a UK Radio task force. The task force specifically covers the UK radio industry, as well as stations broadcast and shows broadcast on those stations, which isn't covered as much in depth and can differ from the mainly US based WikiProjects. If you wish to join us make UK radio articles better, please feel free to join. Regards --tgheretford (talk) 13:56, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
