[edit] About Me

I'm a Unix Systems Administrator working primarily with Solaris, Linux and AIX. I've been working for a company in the Seismic Processing field since 2000. I graduated from Electronics Engineering Technology from NAIT in 1988.

My main interests are computers, flying, hiking, scrambling, motorcycling, and amateur radio.

To facilitate my motorized hobbies I own a Cessna 150 airplane and a Suzuki VX800 motocycle.

I've done quite a bit of flying in K-Country and the Bow Valley. One of these days I'll push onward to Cranbrook or Golden. No small feat in my little airplane! I take requests for aerial photos of mountains or other easily identifyable items.

Wikipedians hoping to be pilots from the Calgary area that want to go flying are welcome to contact me to arrange a flight. Persons 150lbs or lighter can be a passenger in my plane (with full fuel). Future pilots over 150lbs would have to split the cost of a cessna 172 rental but we can still go flying....
