[edit] Interesting facts
I'm going to *ATTEMPT* to clean up this article. But do we need the interesting facts section? If they're really that important, they can be merged with the rest of the article. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 11:46, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Busch Series
Does Harvick have a seperate page for his Busch series stats since he is running both series, or are you guys just keeping track of what he does in the Nextel Cup? I just feel it might be more interesting to have both. --Kranar drogin 21:16, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lead section
"He is known for replacing the late Dale Earnhardt after Earnhardt was killed in Daytona in 2001, and for his aggressive driving style. In 2007, six years after Earnhardt's death..."
Can someone clarify this statement? He replaced him in the GM Goodrich car, correct? I think it should be reworded to say this.++aviper2k7++ 03:26, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, he drove the white GM car that year. Here is something maybe to verify that statement [1]. Here is another [2]. Here is what the car looked like: [3].--Kranar drogin 03:54, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wins sections
Is it really necessary to list ALL of his wins in NASCAR? It seems like fanboyism to me. --D-Day 13:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Please start a discussion on the NASCAR WikiProject, and let's make this a WikiProject decision for all drivers. Royalbroil T : C 14:01, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have moved it to the talk page; it seemed rather listy and could be incorporated another way, probably in prose writing. See if we can include it in prose.++aviper2k7++ 03:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Why not do a seperate page for the wins? Can put the category header under one of the sections, maybe under Nextel season. I do think it is important to list them, but not on the main page.--Kranar drogin 12:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

- A separate article would not last long, per notability standards. When Harvick becomes as legendary as someone like Dale Earnhardt, it could be plausible. Right now, 11 Cup wins doesn't really say too much. Also, do we really need a summary of every single win? --D-Day 12:38, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- We need to be discussing this for ALL NASCAR drivers, not just Harvick. The discussion is stalled here. I have reactivated it. We also need to discuss if the winning the Daytona 500 should be added as an award in the driver infobox. I started a discussion for it here. Royalbroil T : C 12:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

List of Kevin Harvick's wins removed from main page: Talk:Kevin Harvick/wins.
[edit] Things that need work
If anyone's interested, I'm creating a little checklist of things to do in order to make this article GA Class.
- Reorganize the article. It should be in chronological order, like a biography. Right now it's disorganized and contains two separate sections, sometimes duplicating itself. The Busch and Cup sections need to be combined
- The Busch section is a list. It should be written in prose at least, but I think it should be combined.
Again, 2006 Chase for the Nextel Cup section is a repeat of everything. Disorganized.2-23-07- The article has very little sources. Four is not enough.
I removed some POV statements, there isn't that much of a problem with that. Feel free to cross out ones that you fix, or add any problems.++aviper2k7++ 04:49, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
