[edit] Biography Text
I noticed in the history that several times this page has been reverted to one that copies word-for-word from Kevin Fowler's website. This is plaigarism. I've fixed up the biography so that is has easily accessible facts and is not a plaigarized work. Please don't revert again. Karanacs 17:20, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Lord Loves The Drinkin' Man
Please don't change this back. Kevin has never hit the Top 40. I have all of the Billboard Top 40 charts from 1990 to the present, and I can confirm that "The Lord Loves The Drinkin' Man" was a #36 for Mark Chesnutt, NOT for Kevin! TenPoundHammer 21:14, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- By the way, I do realize that both Billboard.com and Allmusic.com claim that Kevin got to #36 with that song. But as I've said, I've checked all the charts, and Kevin's never cracked the Top 40. TenPoundHammer 02:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was going by the Billboard website. I took a closer look at it today, and realized that if you are looking at Fowler's chart history and click the "Buy CD" link next to the song, it does actually redirect you to Chesnutt's album. Thanks for clarifying! Karanacs 13:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Drinking Man (again)
I'll say it again for anyone else: Quit adding "The Lord Loves the Drinking Man"! Billboard screwed up their listing; only Mark Chesnutt ever charted with the song, even though Fowler did co-write and record it. (Note that, as Karanacs says above, if you click through on the "Buy CD" link, it links to Chesnutt's album, not Fowler's.)
