Kevin Lamont Thompson (born February 7, 1971 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is an American professional basketball player.

Thompson, a 6'11" center, was selected 48th overall in the 1993 NBA Draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. His NBA career consisted of 14 games for the Blazers, averaging 0.9 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.

He has played professionally in Italy for Illycaffe' Trieste (1994-1995), Scavolini Pesaro (1995-1997), Viola Reggio Calabria (1999-2000) and Lineltex Imola (2000-2001). He has also played in Spain (CB Cáceres, CB Valladolid, CB Girona or CB Murcia).

He is currently playing for Plus Pujol Lleida in the Spanish LEB.
