Kevin Rey Smith (born April 7, 1970 in Orange, Texas) is a former professional American football player who played cornerback in the National Football League for nine seasons for the Dallas Cowboys.

Smith was drafted in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, and in his rookie season was a starting cornerback for the Cowboys when they won their first Super Bowl since the 1970s.
Smith's career was de-railed when he tore his Achilles tendon in the first game of the 1995 season against the NY Giants on Monday Night Football, and although he returned to the Cowboys in 1996, he was never the same player after the injury. Smith's final season with the Cowboys was in 2000.Smith is now working in Irving Texas as VP of Business Development for First Plus Financial Group
