Kevin Shattenkirk (born January 29, 1989 in New Rochelle, New York, U.S.) is an ice hockey player. He was drafted 14th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. He started his hockey career with the New Jersey Devils Youth Hockey Organization. While he was drafted from the United States National Team Development Program, he committed to and is now playing his first season for Boston University of Hockey East in NCAA along with 2007 Colorado Avalanche draft pick Colby Cohen (2nd round, 45th overall).
