Kevin Sanders was born on October 9, 1982 in Dekalb County, Georgia and grew up in Conyers, Georgia. He is the drummer of the five-member American pop rock band from Conyers, Georgia that formed in 2004, called Cartel.[1] He started playing the trumpet in 1995 and picked up the drums during the Christmas of 1996.

Kevin Plays SJC Drums, while he is shown playing a DW kit in the "Honestly" Video, he switched shortly after that. He has used many different kits hand crafted by SJC, his current set-up for the Cartel (album) tour is an Amber Acrylic SJC Kit, sizes are (depth x diameter) Bass-18x24, Floor Toms-14x16, 16x16, and and 8x12 Rack tom. The set is equipped with gold glitter "revolutionary hoops", teardrop lugs, and Gauger Dynamounts. Kevin also uses Pro-Mark 5B Hickory Drumsticks.

Kevin Sanders' musical influences are Hot Water Music, The Beatles [2], Dave Grohl, and Led Zeppelin [3].

Family; Kevin is mostly accompanied by his brother, Kyle Sanders.
Personality; Everyone who's met him agrees he's just an all around friendly guy. He talked to fans all day long at the bubble!
