Kevin Roach, originally from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada is a multi-instrumentalist inspired by traditional Celtic music. He plays several stringed instruments, including fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and Irish-style tenor banjo.
Kevin has performed at concerts and folk festivals in Canada and the US with a number of acts, including Irish traditional bands Barley Bree and Tailor's Twist, Cape Breton fiddler Dwayne Coté and singer Jimmy Sweeney. Kevin's CD, The Downpour, which features both original and traditional Celtic tunes, was nominated for a 2007 East Coast Music Award in the Instrumental Recording category.
