Kevin Omokhua (born September 2, 1984) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for the Toronto Lynx.
[edit] Playing career
He first played soccer at Cardinal Leger Catholic Secondary School in Brampton, where in 2003 he won the Athlete of the Year award. In his youth years he played for Brampton SC and Dixie SC, where he won the Robbie Tournament and 2 Ontario Cups. He played college soccer for St. Bonaventure University. In 2006 he led the team in goals, assists and points and finished his career in 10th place all-time for Bonnies scoring. He was named 3-time Atlantic All-Conference player.
When the college soccer season was over he signed for the Ottawa Fury of the Premier Development League in 2005. In his first season with the Fury he led the team in scoring with 11 goals, and the following season in 2006 he led in scoring again with 11 goals. In the end of the season he was named into the PDL All-Eastern Conference Team, and became the Fury's All-time leading scorer in franchise history. In 2007 he left Ottawa to sign for the Toronto Lynx where he would play in 13 games but would fail to score a single goal. He helped the Lynx finish the season with a 6-6-4 record, good for fourth place in the division and only 6 points short of a playoff berth.
