Kevin Murphy (screenwriter)

Kevin Murphy is an American screenwriter, television producer and composer. He's written and produced the Showtime Network original movie Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, as well as the stage version of it, and the upcoming ABC Family original movie Nobody, for which he also composed the music.

Currently Murphy is assigned as a consulting producer for the 2007 premiering supernatural dramedy Reaper. He has also been a co-executive producer of Desperate Housewives since its premiere.

Previously Murphy has been a part of the production teams of the television series, including Weird Science, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, So Weird, Get Real, Jack & Jill, Ed and The O'Keefes, all of which he also wrote for. In addition, he has written episodes of cartoon series The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sabrina, the Animated Series, as well as action series Martial Law and the shortlived sitcom Big Brother Jake.
