Kevin McDonald (born 4 November 1988) is a Scottish footballer currently playing for Scottish First Division club Dundee. He plays in midfield.

[edit] Career

McDonald, regarded by many as among the most talented young footballers in Scotland, had been the subject of a £75,000 bid from Celtic in June 2006 which was rejected by Dundee.[1] Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa have also been reportedly interested in signing the Scotland Under-19 international. On the 10th of April 2008 McDonald was linked with a move to Liverpool, however his manager is keen for him to stay with the Scottish club. In May 2008, Dundee manager Alex Rae told press that he would let McDonald leave Dens Park but only if a suitable offer was received.[2] On the same day it was revealed that Dundee had rejected an offer of £250,000 from for McDonald from English Chamionship side Burnley.[3]
