Kevin Fennell

Kevin Fennel was a frequent drummer for Guided by Voices between 1983-1996. He left the band somewhat acrimoniously in 1996 while suffering from various health problems. Though thought to have coined the phrase "Guided by Voices is the devil", supposedly sincerely^{[citation needed]}, he had apparently reconciled enough to perform at the band's final Dayton, OH performance in 2004. He did not, however, appear at their final concert overall in Chicago, 12/31/04.
