Kevin Eastman (basketball coach)

Kevin Eastman is an American basketball coach and current assistant to head coach Doc Rivers of the Boston Celtics. He joined the Celtics coaching staff before the 2004-2005 season.[1]

Prior to joining the Celtics, Eastman served as Nike Basketball’s National Director of Skills in 2003-2004, and spent 2002-2003 as athletic director at Randoph-Macon College.[1] Eastman spent five years (1994-1999) as head men's basketball coach at Washington State University and four years (1990-1994) as head coach at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.[1] In addition, Eastman held assistant coaching positions at the University of Tulsa, Virginia Commonwealth University, Colorado State University, and his alma mater, the University of Richmond.[1]

As a player for the Spiders, Eastman was a two-time team captain, three-year starter, and scored 1,162 points.[2] He also a member of the university's athletic hall of fame.[2]
