Kevin Dooley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kevin Dooley is a former editor at DC Comics. During his time there, he served as the assistant editor to Andy Hefler and took over much of Hefler's titles following his promotion. Dooley edited the various Green Lantern books and Aquaman. He also dabbled with writing comics, but was largely unsuccessful.

Perhaps his most notable accomplishment during his time at DC Comics is his oversight of Emerald Twilight, a story that marked a major shift in tone (and indeed persona) of Green Lantern, a long-standing marquee character for DC comics. Beyond Green Lantern, he also oversaw the Aquaman and Superboy series.

Dooley left the employ of DC Comics in 1999.

He is now a teacher working at Elizabeth Learning Center in Bell, California.
