Kevin Borseth

Kevin Borseth (born June 9, 1954) is the current head women's basketball coach at Michigan. He has compiled a 441-159 record in 20 years as a head basketball coach. He has compiled 19 consecutive winning campaigns, and 15 20 win seasons. His teams have either won or shared 13 conference titles, and won their conference tournament 8 times. In 15 of his 20 seasons, his teams have gone to the post-season, including 13 NCAA appearances with only 2 WNIT appearances.

He had served at University of Wisconsin at Green Bay from 1997 to 2007. He posted a 216-62 record with 20 win seasons in 8 of his 9 years during his tenure. His 2006-2007 team ranks as the best in school history. The team went 29-4, including a perfect 16-0 in conference play, and established school and conference records for wins. From December 7th to March 18th, UWGB had the longest winning streak in the nation at 26 consecutive wins.

Soon after talking over Michigan, he became well-known after the video of a very emotional news conference, which took place February 28, 2008, right after a dramatic loss, became a popular internet video.[1][2]
