Agreed that the two pages should be merged.

I disagree. my interest is in military history and not in GA local geography. Even if the battle is only a stub, it fits in with the battle sequences. Ratagonia 02:49, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

A note about standard page naming practice at Wikipedia:

• A page named Kettle Creek (Georgia) refers to a river or stream.
• A page named Kettle Creek, Georgia would refer to a community.
• A page named Battle of Kettle Creek refers to a battle.

Accordingly, I have turned this page into a page about the stream. Material about the battle, which was the majority of the page, has been moved to the battle page noted above. Gjs238 13:37, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
