Ketnet is a kids channel in Flanders. It is run by the VRT, Flanders' public broadcaster. It aims to provide an alternative to the violent commercial children programming on some commercial channels. Amongst kids in Flanders and even in The Netherlands it is the most popular kids channel because of its quality home grown programming and good foreign productions. The station broadcasts on the second public channel every day until Canvas takes over at 8pm.
