Talk:Keshava
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I added the Devanagari. Are Keshava and Keshav (or Keśava) alternate names or alternate pronunciations, like Sanskrit vs. Hindi, etc? Khirad 07:46, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
- They are alternate pronunciations, I believe. The final a in Sanskrit words is normally dropped in Hindi unless it would be difficult to pronounce without it (eg. Krishna). --Grammatical error 07:25, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
