Kesavadasapuram is situated in Thiruvananthapuram district. Kesavadasapuram junction can be called as the meeting point of both NH 47 and MC Road (or SH1). While coming from the city centre, at the junction, MC road takes a right towards Kilimanoor, Adoor, Pandalam etc and NH47 takes a right towards Ulloor, Kollam, Alleppey etc.

Kedaram Shopping complex is a structure which will not go unnoticed if you pass through the junction. Other notable landmarks are Madhavan Thampi's hall & vessel house, Chaitanya Eye hospital and various optical shops, a Mosque, Kalpana towers - hosting Big Bazaar, Petrol pump, Car furnishing shops and a big Pepal tree at the junction. On the way from Kesavadasapuram Junction to Ulloor is the regional head office of Food Corporation of India. There are branches of a variety of banks in and near the junction. Vijaya Bank, Syndicate Bank, Co-operative Bank, SBI are some of them. There is an auto/car stand near the junction. Medical College is hardly 3 km from the junction. There are a couple of hotels and juice stalls near the junction.
Mahatma Gandhi NSS College is hardly a kilometre from the junction.
Kunnuvila Devi Temple and the Mosque are two centres of worship located near Kesavadasapuram. St.Marys HSS Pattom which is Asia's largest school is also nearby.
